Step 1) You must download and install the driver to use StudentPrintJobs.
Step 2) You need to enable something called CUPS in order to add the StudentPrintJobs printer to your machine. Click on the Spotlight icon (looks like a magnifier glass) in the upper-right corner of your screen. Type "terminal" in the search bar and click on the first application that appears in the list (see below)
Step 3) When the Terminal window opens, wait a few seconds, then copy and paste the following command exactly as it appears below then press the return key on your keyboard:
Step 4) Quit Terminal and then open Safari and go to http://localhost:631
Step 5) Click on the Administration tab across the top of the page.
Step 6) Click the Add Printer button under the Printers menu.
Step 7) When this box pops up, enter the username and password you use to login to your mac (not your Juniata username/password).
Step 8) Select Windows printer via spoolss under the Other Network Printers heading and then click Continue.
Step 9) In the Connection box, enter the following (filling in the appropriate information for username, password, host, and shared printer name):
Type the printer's address using the following format but make sure there are NO SPACES:
smb://YOURUSERNAME : YOURPASSWORD @ikonserver.juniata.edu/StudentPrintJobs
*There should be NO space between the : and your password.
Step 10) Enter a Name (NO SPACES), Description, Location, etc. for the printer. Click Continue.
Step 11) Select Ricoh as the make of the printer. Click Continue.
Step 12) Select RICOH Aficio MP C4502 PS as the model. Click Add Printer.
Step 13) Under the General tab, select Long Edge under the Duplex option and Black and White under Color Mode.
If you do not change these settings, you will be charged for single-sided color prints.
Step 14) Click Set Default Option"and then the printer should be added and available.
